THE PROJECT

The Z Bike, developed by Dallara and strongly wanted by Alex Zanardi, was born with the goal of increasing the technical level of Paralympic cycling and to make it more accessible for aspiring athletes.

Achieving this goal meant studying the current market, understanding what had already been done and what could have been innovated. Identifying technical solutions to make each vehicle extremely adaptable and versatile, without compromising the typical performance effectiveness of the most extreme customizations.

In a world where physical and skill requirements tend to be so different in individual disabled athletes, achieving this milestone might have seemed utopian. Yet, our technicians here in Varano De Melegari and Alex Zanardi, whose experience introduced them to this topic, are confident that they have accomplished a great result in this regard.

In the automotive world, things are constantly improving. Every winning product must be continually innovated to remain so, and Dallara wants to meet this challenge with the same philosophy that has enabled the company to become a global excellence in its sector.

A sector, which from today, with enthusiasm and passion, also extends to that of Paralympic sports.
